As in many parts of Argyll, this house site slopes steeply with access from the road at upper floor level.
The house sites at right angles to the slope and the lower floor has a smaller foot print to avoid substantial retention. Living accommodation and one bedroom are on the entrance floor with two bedrooms and a Jack-and-Jill bathroom below.

Engineer designed trusses form a vaulted ceiling over the living room and a flat ceiling in the bedroom. The trusses extend out to cover the balcony that shelter the ground floor terrace. Combinations of timber/render/slate articulate the external appearance.
